Dawda Jobarteh was born in Gambia in 1976. He is born in a Gambian musician family – a so called griot family. In Gambia the musical profession is inherited. Dawda’s dad, grand dad, great grand dad etc. were all griots or ’djelis’ which means bards.

Since he was very young Dawda was a member of Salaam Band, with who he toured in the Gambia, Senegal and Europe. Later on he played in Kaira Trio in the Gambia, UK and USA at WOMAD festivals and other concerts, where he also played with Doll Foundation. In 1999 Dawda moved to Denmark, where he plays with Asafo, Moussa Diallo and Palle Mikkelborg, Wakilo, and New Jungle Orchestra. In Denmark he has also played with Tchando, Simon Spang-Hansen, Continental Heat, United African Ballet of Denmark, and Ole ’Fessor’ Lindgren and in Sweden Dawda has played with Ellika Frisell.

Jon Grinde er opvokset i Malmö, men er bosiddende i København. har tidligere gået på musikgymnasium og musik-folkehøjskole i sverige. Går nu 4:e år på Rytmisk musik konservatorium. Spiller i forskellige bands og konstellationer i Malmö og Kph.

Guitarist uddannet på Det Rytmiske Musikkonservatorium i København .Spilet med Agora Brazil , Emergency , Tritonopia , Robert Porter , Misha Sakharoff band og mange flere .Leder af HCFrank Trio og The Television-Kitchen-Music-ensemble .

Educated at the Rhytmic Music Conservatory. Music research in Ghana and Guinea. Has played with groups such as Zebra, Kantamato, Tchando. Percussion group with Lamine and Bibo Camara.

Educated as a classic and rhytmic pianist. Since '92 active in the jazz scene in Copenhagen, played with Richard Boone, Ed Thigpen, Bob Rockwell and Luther Thomas, Debbie Cameron. Played with a South Afican Muzi Mangena. Has his own band called Trio Scope and played over 2 years with Christianias jazz club.

Autodidact, has played with Voodo Gang with Ben Besiakow, Lars H.U.G., Moussa Diallo, The Sandmen, Amadu Jarr, Classique Vibes, Aske Jacoby, Claus Menzer. Has also been leader of Cowbells, that played a lot of concerts in Copenhagen.
