Asafo is a band founded in January 1999 by Nana Osibio & Ayi-Solomon.
Currently the band consists of nine members, namely;

Marko Martinovic: Keyb.
John Grinde: Drums.
Ayi Solomon: Percussion.
Sam Adou: Percussion

The musical style of Asafo is : Roots African Popfusion and its highly danceable and interesting to listen to.
Nana Osibio is the musical director and composer. With intense rhytmic elements and patterns, which electrifies the body to move. The strong punches in the songs and compositions create tensions and at the same time rescued by the sweet beautiful melodies of the vocal themes and chorus.
